Last night while I was running, I had the idea that we should put together a slideshow of pictures of mothers or grandmothers or other mother-figures. Or of ourselves as mothers. And run it on Sunday to celebrate all the women out there who have played motherly roles in our lives.
So if you have a special picture of yourself with your mom, or maybe just of your mom, or of your grandma or aunt or a special teacher or of yourself with your kids, please send it to Heather (heather@thebeals.net). You can include a very short caption if you like, or no caption. Same with names–can include them or not.
I’ll put them together in a slide show and publish it this Sunday, May 12.
I’ll see if I can track down the picture of my great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother, myself and my first baby.
