My friend Jason sent me this link on Monday that discusses the death of Osama Bin Laden from a perspective I haven’t seen anywhere else. This gave me a lot to think about, so I thought I’d share it here.
I’m curious to know what other people think about the author’s concerns about the “war on terror” and the definitions of “terrorist” and “patriotism.”
Interesting perspective. I’m a long way from Mexico, but I agree that Neo-con language such as ‘War on Terror’ becomes a handy excuse for all sorts of loosely related and questionable projects.
I think that Obama’s administration should see a decrease in these kinds of projects. Is that your sense? How recent is this effort in Mexico?
