Today’s Ride to Church comes to us from Queensland, Australia, courtesy of Spunky from The Exponent.
Unfortunately, some of Spunky’s pictures were smaller than others. When I asked her to re-send them, she told me the terrible news that her home had been broken into and her laptop and camera stolen. So in addition to enjoying her beautiful photos (in varying sizes!), let’s all send Spunky some Doves & Serpents love!
She writes: “Welcome to Australia! My husband and I just moved to Nudgee Beach a few months ago. As we move regularly for work, we are well aware that this is likely a short-time stay, but we love it for the moment.”

What horrible news, spunky! I am so very sorry your home was broken into.
These photos, on the other hand, are gorgeous. I do hope that the rest of your stay on this beach is peaceful.
What a lovely, lovely place to live. And what a lucky dog you have!
I’m so sorry about the break in. It’s got to be both frightening and maddening. Thank you for sharing the photos with us.
I enjoyed that- thanks! And cute dog.
Nation of recidivists, larcenists and zealots these bloody colonial immigrants stealing the wealth and health of the Aborigines, go back from whence yee ancestors came villeins.
Thanks all– we love our dog! And for whatever reason, I wasn’t as bothered about the break-in as I might have been; for whatever reason, I didn’t take it personally. Can’t stay angry with views like this every day :)
