… is that there are always exceptions.
Love to Jesus and Mo.

lol! Brilliant. I love Jesus and Mo. :)
And when he said “your Mum” I immediately thought of D&S’s roots in GMT.
For some reason, I just think ‘your Mum’ sounds funnier, too!
That’s pretty funny.
Can I make a more serious comment, though? In the Forbidden Fruit book I just read, Regnerus addresses the assumption that talking to kids about sex will lead them to have sex . . . so many parents decide NOT to talk to their kids about sex.
He says the data suggest that there is indeed a correlation between talking to kids about sex and them actually doing it, but he says the correlation actually happens BEFORE the talk(s). Parents start thinking that their kids may be close to becoming sexually active, or that they are considering it, and so that’s what leads them to talk to their kids . . ., etc. So it’s not the talking that CAUSES them to have sex.
Totally serious. This is a tough subject for parents, I think. We’re typically taught that sex is a naughty thing … something for adults to do in secret – no wonder then that parents resist talking to the kids about it until it’s too late. One could argue that God did the same to Eve and Adam … waited until it was too late.
So even God was ashamed? Sheesh. No wonder we’re all so messed-up. No wonder he was so stealthy with Mary.
Surely sex is so nasty. . . Mary had to be a virgin. LOL No wonder religious people are so weird about talking about it . . . or most likely doing it.
Marriage is so important to Mormons they even spend a lot of time talking about Jesus being married – but did he have sex? LOL
WELL, it’s Mormon doctrine (says Brother Brigham, says I) that not only did Christ have wives on earth and, surely, sex: but the Father also procreated with Mary in the recognised way. Brigham said that the Holy Ghost thing was a corruption of the text, if I remember correctly.
So yes, sex is ON THE MENU for gods: and that includes any of us, if we make it to the Celestial Kingdom. If you don’t, then you get a body without genitalia.
Brigham is the authority on all types of sex for sure.
Yeah – no Holy Ghost humping, he doesn’t have a body. The Man had to do it. Gives new credibility to the aliens built the pyramids – since obviously someone from outer-space did come and do Mary?
In fact the ultimate joy/reward/kingdom is to be able to CONTINUE to have sex. Maybe that is why Mormons aren’t allowed to talk about it, because sex which is something even the most poor on Earth can do anytime. . . is what we are really working for? Aren’t we companions with God whenever in the act. Maybe that is why we don’t talk about mothers in heaven . . . so it won’t lead to questions about God humping – many women? And sex outside of marriage is the biggest sin a normal person can participate in.
OK I need to stop because the ridiculousness of all of this makes me want to just spew 1000 witty saying and jokes on this. LOL
