We bought a new (to us) house in March and thus had to pack up all of our belongings. While unpacking, I discovered an old disposable camera and had no memory of when I had used it. I figured one of the kids had used it at some point. So I sent it in to Snapfish to see what the pictures were of. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the pictures were of a trip I took to St. Paul, Minnesota for a work conference. The Sunday morning I was there, I went for a walk in the area surrounding the hotel and then also rode with a friend to see the Cathedral of St. Paul and Cathedral Hill neighborhood. I had forgotten about the whole experience!
So here are my pictures–remember that they were taken, almost four years ago, with a cheap disposable camera.
Oddly enough when I lived in Minneapolis, the managing partner of the consulting firm I worked for owned and lived in that F. Scott Fitzgerald house. I wonder if old Bill Bluhm is still kicking around in that house?
Cool!
What a beautiful city! The St Paul-Minneapolis area is one I never really heard much about until lately; now I’ve got a friend who just moved there. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
