Thanks to fab commenter geoffsn, we now have four additional word clouds to compare to my original post from this morning. Please forgive the formatting until I can get it fixed . . .
Word Cloud One: just the four general sessions (two from Saturday, two from Sunday)
Word Cloud Two: the four General Conference sessions PLUS the Priesthood and Relief Society sessions
;
Word Cloud Three: just the Relief Society broadcast
Word Cloud Four: just the Priesthood session
I wish CHARITY was the biggest in each cloud and not just RS.
Interesting how “Church” is so dominant in the first two, but not so much in either Priesthood or RS sessions.
My guess is that Elder Ballard and Elder Perry’s talks are the primary sources for “church.”
These would be interesting writing prompts – “Can you write a talk using all of these words?”
Where is MOTHER?
I must be somewhere? ……I’m looking again. . . . . Father is huge. I see man. I see brother. I don’t see my mother anywhere.
Interesting to think of which one you’d rather listen to just by looking at the word cloud. RS gets my vote.
I’d love to see Inspire/Inspiration, Seek, Hope and Grace. Would also like to see Love a lot bigger.
I also would have bet Joseph would have been higher going in, but I didn’t listen to much.
At first glance, I’m just glad that the General Conferences showed to have Christ and God as the main focus. It’d be pretty disappointing to have any other word pops up instead. So, I’m glad about that.
I guess it make sense that Relief Society are the major words in the RS meeting, and priesthood in priesthood session. It just goes with the territory. I’d think even if they talked about charity, for example, in every talk in the RS meeting, because it’s a RS meeting, it’d would likely automatically be connected to how we as Relief Society sisters can apply this principle or whatever. So, whatever.
Interesting…
I couldn’t help but giggle at the phallic nature of “priesthood” in the last cloud.
Funny, Jasie! I didn’t notice that.
