Madame Curie engages with the Garden of Eden story over on Sapphic Soliloquies, exploring a role-reversal where Adam stands as a mother figure to Eve that came from his side. The myth of Adam and Eve has always seemed to me to be one of the central stories of LDS theology, and Madame Curie’s analysis from a Roman Catholic/Mormon perspective is fascinating.

Wow, thanks for the nod Andy!
My pleasure: I’m looking forward to part 2 (and perhaps more?)!
This particular series is a three-parter. Part 2 will be posted tomorrow, and Part 3 on Friday. I am hoping to add more in the future, particularly on the myth of Adam’s first wife, Lilith, from Jewish folklore.
