Okay, so I’m a bit behind on this ride/walk to church that I’ve been meaning to do since we got back from Tokyo in March. Nonetheless, here it is:
On the second day we were in Tokyo, Marin and Stuart went to school with their same-age friends who now live in Tokyo and Brent, Kennedy and I headed out with our friend to see the Mormon temple and miscellaneous other things along the way. We took the subway (which I did not take pictures of–at least not this day) and then did a lot of walking to get there. It was fun to see a temple right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of such a big city. It felt very similar to when I’ve been to the Manhattan temple. You’re just walking along on a busy city street and then Bam!, there is it: a Mormon temple. Very different from most temples, that are tucked away in a little suburban neighborhood somewhere.
So here you have it–our walk to and around the Tokyo Japan temple.
Thank you–
