So I’ve got one more ride to church from the two weeks I spent in Costa Rica in January. This one is from San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, so it’s quite different from the other two which were from rural areas (see them here and here, if you’d like). I loved San Jose and would love to have spent more time there. I love the hustle and bustle of a big city–perhaps because it’s so different from my daily environment. I love that you can just step outside your door and find restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, doctors’ offices, shoe stores (oh my goodness, I’ve never seen so many shoe stores!)–you name it. And I love the public transportation that so many American cities lack.
