Carole, I’m mighty jealous of you living in such a beautiful place. Is there a story behind the giraffe barn?
I don’t know the story behind the giraffe barn. I’ll have to find out.
gorgeous!
Loved them, this is a part of Utah I really haven’t seen up close.
Thanks for sharing! It is easy to see why they call it Paradise. Tell the old guy you live with howdy.
Made me want to see the old church too.
Ok Wynsor, the old guy is already in bed. I should get a pic of the old church especially since tragically it’s slated for demolition this summer. Something I’m pretty sad about.
They’re demo-ing an old building? Why? Hate to see that happen . . .
Carole, that is so sad to hear. We must memorialize it here- send us the picture and we’ll put it up. Or even a series of pictures.
I would love you to memorialize it. It’s something that has been debated for a long time, but I guess the cost of getting it to earthquake safety is too much. I would like to get inside when I can and take some pictures as well as outside. I’ll let you know when I get them done.
Well, my guess is that where there’s a will, there’s a way, and apparently the church doesn’t have the will? We’ve lost too many of our old buildings because of modern ideas of what’s important and cost effective.
